Workflow

Your users already wrote the feedback.
Now it lands in #product.

Review analysis is worth nothing in a browser tab nobody else opens. Chain ParseMyApp and Slack through Claude and the findings show up where the decision actually gets made.

Why review data never reaches the channel

Every team says they read their reviews. What actually happens: someone screenshots a bad one on a bad day, drops it in Slack, and it gets three reactions and no ticket.

The reason is friction, not apathy. Reading 500 reviews, spotting the pattern, writing it up legibly, and pasting it somewhere is forty minutes of work that nobody owns.

When both tools are connectors in the same chat, that forty minutes becomes one sentence — and the output lands formatted, with quotes, in front of the people who can act on it.

Connect both, once

Both tools speak MCP, so Claude can call them in the same conversation. Add each as a custom connector under Settings → Connectors, then never think about it again.

ParseMyApp

https://www.parsemyapp.com/mcp

Free, no account, no API key. Fetches App Store and Google Play reviews and analyzes them.

Slack

https://mcp.slack.com/mcp

Official Slack MCP server. A workspace admin has to approve it before it can be added — Slack only allows Marketplace-published or internal apps to use MCP at all. Authorizes through Slack's normal OAuth flow, scoped to what you can already see.

The workflow

1

Ask in plain language

"Analyze Duolingo's iOS reviews and post the top 5 pain points to #product." One message, both connectors, no menus.

2

ParseMyApp pulls the reviews

Up to 500 real App Store or Google Play reviews, stratified across star ratings so 1★ noise does not drown out 4★ signal. No API key, no account, nothing stored.

3

Claude does the analysis

Pain points with root causes, praises worth protecting, product opportunities, competitor gaps, and contradictions — each with a verbatim quote and an approximate frequency.

4

Slack gets the formatted post

Claude writes it into the channel you named, as a real message with structure — not a wall of JSON. Ask for a thread instead if you want the quotes kept out of the main channel.

Try asking

One message. Claude fetches the reviews through ParseMyApp, does the analysis, and writes the result into Slack without you switching tabs.

"Analyze our app's reviews from the last month and post the top 5 complaints to #product, with a quote for each."

"Compare what users say about us versus our two biggest competitors, then post a summary to #strategy."

"Check whether our rating drop shows up in the reviews yet. If it does, post what is causing it to #incidents."

"Find every review mentioning "sync" and post the five most specific ones to #eng-mobile."

Slack does

  • Post to any channel, DM, or thread
  • Search messages and files
  • Look up users and channels
  • Create and share canvases
  • Add reactions, start conversations

ParseMyApp adds

  • Real reviews from both app stores
  • Ranked pain points with root causes
  • Verbatim quotes to back every claim
  • Frequency estimates across the corpus
  • Works on any app — including theirs

One thing to know

This runs inside a chat you start. It is not a scheduled alert — nothing fires while the window is closed. For a recurring check, put the prompt in your Monday routine, or run it whenever a release ships.

Stop screenshotting the App Store

Add the ParseMyApp connector in under a minute, then ask Claude once.

Set up the connector

Free. No account needed. Or use the web app instead.
