Parse My App respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address (required)
  • Name and profile picture (if using Google OAuth)
  • Account preferences (preferred store, country, language, device type)

Usage Data

We track your service usage to enforce plan limits:

  • Number of analyses performed per month
  • Apps you analyze (app name, store, country, device type)
  • Saved analyses and their results
  • Timestamps of actions

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store:

  • Stripe customer ID and subscription ID
  • Current subscription plan and status
  • Billing period dates

We never store your credit card numbers or payment details. Stripe handles all payment information securely.

Contact Messages

If you contact us through our contact form, we store your name, email, subject, and message for support purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain the service
  • Process your analyses and save results
  • Enforce subscription plan limits
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send important service updates
  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve our service and AI models

3. Third-Party Services

Supabase

We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting. Your account data, analyses, and preferences are stored securely in Supabase PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest.

Stripe

Stripe processes all payments. When you subscribe or make a purchase, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle your payment data.

Groq AI

We send sampled app reviews (100-150 per analysis) to Groq's AI models for analysis. We do not send your personal information (email, payment details, etc.) to Groq. Only the app name and review text are processed.

App Store APIs

We fetch publicly available reviews from Apple App Store and Google Play Store using their public APIs. This data is already public and accessible to anyone.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use only essential cookies for authentication:

  • Supabase authentication session cookies (secure, HttpOnly)
  • OAuth code verifier cookies for login flow (PKCE)

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. Your preferences (store, country, language) are stored in your browser's local storage and synchronized with our database.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all connections
  • Database encryption at rest via Supabase
  • Row-level security (RLS) on all database tables
  • No plain-text password storage (OAuth and magic links only)
  • Input validation to prevent injection attacks

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

  • Account data: Until you delete your account
  • Saved analyses: Until you delete them manually
  • Usage records: Monthly for limit calculation, archived for billing audit
  • Subscription data: 7+ years for tax and payment compliance
  • Contact messages: Indefinitely for support purposes

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Update or correct your information
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Export your saved analyses
  • Download reviews as CSV
  • Opt out of marketing emails (service emails required)

When you delete your account, all your personal data, saved analyses, usage records, and preferences are permanently removed via cascade deletion.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Supabase (database and authentication hosting)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Groq (AI analysis of public reviews only)

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Parse My App, you consent to this transfer.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent changes.
